On who is Tantra for

Although we are living in an age of so-called sexual liberation, it's still rare to find people enjoy a fulfilling sensuality. Indeed there are many people longing for vitality in their relationships and for a spirituality that affirms the unity of body and soul.

In fact, the sexual revolution led to a marketing of life's intimate moments and a flood of images that at first sight may seem to have liberated us from conventional norms, but in reality simply create new clichés. The principles of our performance-oriented society have forced their way into the bedroom as well. On top of this, many adults are still burdened with sexually repressive conditioning from their childhood, which makes it difficult for them to define their own needs and then live them out.

Despite the fact that it is nearly five thousand years old, Tantra presents us with a possibility to escape the difficulties arising from this very modern situation. It cultivates, deepens and spiritualises human nature without repressing it or presenting it as imperfect'. An ever-expanding system that has matured through the ages, tantra offers a wide range of exercises to train the body and improve its capacity for the flow of life energy, to lend the mind a higher ability to concentrate, and to lend the soul an ease and lightness. In contrast to traditional psychotherapy, tantra uses the body and physical expression to work on blockages in the unconscious.

Tantra also amply satisfies the human soul. The sensual component of the system is characterized by creative uses of dance, music, colours, flowers, aroma and food, especially during the rituals which form the high point of each topic. It is systematic, serious and thorough, but also playful, fun and wild.

There are as many varieties of tantra as there are teachers: they all set their own priorities.Tantra is much more than a "school of love! Tantra is a spiritual path, which can influence and accompany you throughout your life.

To find your own truth and to have enough power to live your truth: if you want to be empowered to achieve this, then Tantra is for you.
